PURPOSE: A torque sensor for a steering system is provided to remarkably reduce materials required for a stator and a collector by improving the alignment of magnets. CONSTITUTION: A torque sensor for a steering system comprises an input shaft, an output shaft, magnetic segments(110), a magnet, and a stator(200). Two magnetic bodies having polarities different from each other are arranged on each magnetic segment. The magnetic segments are arranged on the circumference of the magnet at uniform intervals. The magnet is connected to one of the input shaft and the output shaft. The stator is connected to the other one of the input shaft and the output shaft. Protruded pieces corresponding to the magnetic segments are formed in the stator at uniform intervals. |
