<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus which realizes accurate AWB control even if a BLC has a fault. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus comprises: an imaging device 32 for photoelectric conversion of incident light; an amplifier circuit 324 which amplifies an image signal outputted from the imaging device; white balance adjustment means 413, 414, 415, and 481 which adjust the gain of the amplifier circuit using color components included in the image signal to adjust the white balance of the image signal; and white balance adjustment permission means 412 which determines whether luminance information included in the image signal is equal to or larger than a lowest-limit threshold and only when the luminance information is equal to or larger, permits the white balance adjustment means to adjust the white balance of the image signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
