<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector device, comprising a connector having ground connection portions and ground contact pieces, capable of being manufactured in a small size, particularly, in a fitting direction, and the like. <P>SOLUTION: An electric connector device comprises connectors including a first connector and a second connector which fit each other when the fitting part of the first connector is inserted into the inside of the second connector. Each of the first and second connectors has a metal shell which covers the circumference thereof. Particularly, the metal shell of the second connector has ground connection portions which are formed by projecting parts of the metal shell toward a side of a substrate, and ground contact pieces which are formed by being cut and raised inside the second connector in a cantilever state. Hole areas of the metal shell formed around the ground contact pieces when the ground contact pieces are formed and the ground connection portions are not arranged on a straight line extended substantially parallel to a fitting direction, but at least part of the hole areas and the ground connection portions is arranged on a straight line extended in parallel to a direction orthogonal to the fitting direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
