<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an application to use a suitable software module when there are a plurality of software modules which provide functions to be used by the application. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic device which is capable of executing applications comprises: a plurality of interface providing means for providing an application with an interface which enables the application to use a function of the electronic device; and selecting means which when determining, from information on the use of the interface by the application, that the interface to be used by the application is satisfied by first interface providing means having a part of interfaces to be provided by another interface providing means, selects the first interface providing means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
