<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abrasion-resistant and transparent optical member, and a manufacturing method thereof. <P>SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of an optical member includes the steps of: coating with fluid dispersion containing particles and a dispersion medium; coating with a solution containing a component required for forming a binder; forming a layer through filling with the binder between particles; and desiccating the layer. Further, the optical member is in a state having gaps (voids) 13 in addition to holes 14 of hollow particles 11, as a plurality of gaps (voids) are included inside the binder of a layer obtained through laminating plural layers of particles aligned in a direction parallel to a substrate surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
