PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system enabling stereoscopic information to be easily recognized in displaying time-series image data; an image processing device; an image processing method; and a medical image diagnostic device.

SOLUTION: In this image processing device, an image selecting section selects a reference parallax image group to be used as a reference from a plurality of parallax image groups generated from image data picked up over time. An image quality modifying section modifies the image quality of at least the parallax image group included in either the reference parallax image group or the plurality of parallax image groups. A display control section displays an image formed by combining the parallax image group included in the plurality of parallax image groups with the reference parallax image group having modified image quality, combining the reference parallax image group with the parallax image group having modified image quality, or combining the reference parallax image group having modified image quality and the parallax image group included in the plurality of parallax image groups.
