This set 2 includes n (n is an integer equal to or greater than 2) iron golf clubs. Each of the n clubs has a rail r1 extending backward from an intermediate position in a face-back direction of a sole. When a distance d1 between a leading edge Le and a rail starting point Sr is defined as d1(1), d1(2), . . . , d1(n) in an ascending order of a real loft angle from the club having the smallest real loft angle, the set 2 satisfies the following relation: d1(1)≦̸d1(2)≦̸ . . . ≦̸d1(n), and d1(1)<d1(n). Preferably, the set 2 satisfies the following relation: d1(1)<d1(2)< . . . <d1(n).
