<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air purifier having a compact external appearance and high purifying performance. <P>SOLUTION: An air flow WD is made pass through a thickness of a filter 31 leaning to the flow direction, in an air passage space 24 of a purified air discharge section 3 located above a suction section 2 of the air to be purified, provided with a fan 13.
