NAVIGATION SYSTEM, ROUTE SEARCH SERVER, TERMINAL DEVICE, AND ROUTE GUIDANCE METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To search for a recommended route for each type of available traveling means and each combination of pieces of traveling means, and present those recommended routes in a comparable manner.

SOLUTION: A navigation system 10 has a last train search mode for searching for a route from a departure place to a destination for each predetermined traveling means and each combination of predetermined different pieces of traveling means. When the last train search mode is selected, route search means 33 searches for and guides the latest route having the latest departure time from the departure place among routes which depart from the departure place before the departure time of a route including first train traveling means and arrive at the destination, for each predetermined traveling means and each combination of predetermined different pieces of traveling means.
