<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lining repair method capable of suppressing and preventing explosive breakage at the drying of a castable refractory used for repair. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided the drying method of the lining 15 which is arranged on the surface of an iron membrane 11, and on which a wear refractory 12, a first permanent refractory 13 and a second permanent refractory 14 are arranged in this order from a side at which the lining contacts with molten metal toward the side of the iron membrane 11. The first permanent refractory 13 is constituted of a shaped refractory whose thickness is ≥30 mm and ≤65 mm, a heat insulating material 16 whose heat transmittance is ≤30 W/(m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>K) is arranged between the first permanent refractory 13 and the second permanent refractory 14, the wear refractory 12 is a residual refractory which is constituted of the castable refractory subjected to a heat history and whose thickness is ≤70 mm, and a non-dried repairing castable refractory 17 is arranged on the surface of the wear refractory 12 and/or the first permanent refractory 13 at the maximum thickness of ≤100 mm, thus heating and drying it. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
