<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a connector which can easily and reliably manufacture a connector suitably connected to another connector. <P>SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a connector includes: a first step of inserting an optical waveguide 20 into a first cavity 101 of a shaping mold 100 until one end surface 203 of the optical waveguide 20 butts against a bottom 107; a second step of filling a first resin material 10 in a liquid state, which is liquid when uncured and forms a connector housing 2 and guide pins 4a and 4b when cured, into the first cavity 101 and second cavities 105a and 105b; a third step of curing the liquid first resin material 10 and then forming the connector housing 2 and the guide pins 4a and 4b together by the cured first resin material 10; and a fourth step of releasing the shaping mold 100. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
