WET-TYPE FLUE GAS DESULFURIZATION APPARATUS, AND THERMAL POWER GENERATION PLANT PROVIDED WITH THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wet-type flue gas desulfurization apparatus for controlling an increase in the number of facilities and cost while reducing an amount of water consumption.

SOLUTION: The wet-type flue gas desulfurization apparatus includes: a gas cooler 40 using a coolant arranged in an absorption tower 3; a coolant flow rate control valve 41 for adjusting the flow rate of the coolant supplied to the gas cooler 40; gas thermometers 42 and 43 for measuring a gas temperature of gas to be treated passing the gas cooler; a control part 44 for controlling opening of the coolant flow rate control valve 41 based on the measured values by the gas thermometers 42 and 43; and condensate water recovering means 25 and 26 for cooling the gas to be treated by the gas cooler 40, condensing moisture in the gas to be treated and recovering the condensed water.
