<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle knee airbag device for preventing an upwardly-standing wall from excessively inclining. <P>SOLUTION: A vehicle knee airbag device 10 has: an airbag door 40, which has upwardly-standing walls 43a and 43b on upper and lower sides of an airbag module storing space 33, respectively, and in which a hook insertion hole 43c is formed in each of the upwardly-standing walls 43a and 43b; an airbag module 50, which is arranged in the airbag module storing space 33 and includes an airbag 51 and hook parts 53a; and a cover 55, which is attached to a glove door 60 and clads the airbag module storing space 33 from a side opposite to a cabin. In the cover 55, a stopper rib 56 is formed at least in a part opposing to the upper upwardly-standing wall 43a from a side opposite to the airbag 51. The stopper rib 56 suppresses the upwardly-standing wall 43a from excessively inclining, so that the hook part 53a is prevented from falling off from the hook insertion hole 43c, and therefore, the airbag 51 can expand to inflate normally. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
