<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a personal authentication medium creating device that can automatically detect a failure in a conveyance order of a personal authentication medium, a print failure like dust adhesion or a color loss, and a failure in the conveyance orientation of the personal authentication medium. <P>SOLUTION: The personal authentication medium creating device includes: a conveyance means for conveying the personal authentication medium in an initial state; a print means for printing the personal authentication medium creating information including specific identification information supplied from an external device provided in the conveyance means on a print screen of the personal authentication medium conveyed by the conveyance means; an overcoating means for overcoating the print surface of the personal authentication medium on which the information is printed by the print means; a reading means that is provided at a downstream side from the overcoating means for reading at least the identification information out of the information printed on the print surface of the personal authentication medium; and a determination means that correlates a reading result by the reading means with the identification information supplied from the external device for determining whether the failure in the conveyance order occurs in a conveyance state of the personal authentication medium in the conveyance means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
