<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately estimate the actual temperature of a rotary electric machine regardless of a load of the rotary electric machine or an influence of coolant when the rotary electric machine is cooled by the coolant, in a rotary electric machine temperature estimating system. <P>SOLUTION: A temperature estimating system 12 includes: a thermistor 26 for measuring the temperature of a second motor generator 24 which is a rotary electric machine; a motor torque obtaining portion 64 for obtaining the torque of the second motor generator 24; and an actual temperature estimating portion 40. The actual temperature estimating portion 40 estimates the actual temperature of the second motor generator 24 on the basis of change amount of measured temperature of the thermistor 26, an obtaining value of the torque of the second motor generator 24, and a temperature correcting value set in advance, so as to correct deviation between the actual temperature of the second motor generator 24 and the measured temperature of the thermistor 26. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
