<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle driving support device which can accurately detect a distance up to a partition line in accordance with a travelling direction of a vehicle and inform a driver of it. <P>SOLUTION: A vehicle driving support device 100 includes: a camera 10, installed on a vehicle, for photographing a prescribed range of the periphery thereof; a partition line detecting unit 30 for detecting a partition line included in an image photographed by the camera 10; a travelling direction determining unit 52 for determining a travelling direction of the vehicle; a partition line distance calculating unit 50, on the basis of detection results by the partition line detecting unit 30 and a determination result by the travelling direction determining unit 52, for calculating a distance from a front end of the vehicle to the partition line when the vehicle advances, and calculating a distance from a rear end of the vehicle to the partition line when the vehicle retreats; and a partition line distance informing unit 54 for informing of the distance between the vehicle and the partition line calculated by the partition line distance calculating unit 50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
