<p>In a current detection device for detecting current flowing through a bus bar, the purpose of the present invention is to avoid current detection error, abnormal noise, and wear attributable to the clearance (play) between a chassis and a magnetic core. The insulating chassis (40) of a current detection device (1) comprises a main body member (41) that is a resin member molded integrally with a magnetic core (10) and a current detection bus bar (30) by an insert molding. The current detection bus bar (30) has a rod-shaped pass-through portion (31) and two terminal portions (33). The main body member (41) has a core fixing portion (43) formed so as to cover the circumference of the pass-through portion (31) of the current detection bus bar (30) and fill in the clearance between the pass-through portion (31) and the inner edge portion of the magnetic core (10). The main body member (41) also has an element supporting portion (44) formed so as to communicate with the core fixing portion (43) and form a space (441) in the gap portion (12) of the magnetic core (10), into which a hall element (20) is inserted.</p> |
