The method involves providing vehicle-side sensors (2, 3) e.g. radar sensors, to detect person data e.g. vehicle-internal and external craft persons recorded data, using a sensor (7) i.e. global positioning system sensor, of a mobile terminal (6) e.g. mobile phone, to be carried by a person (4). The data are transferred to a motor car (1) over a wireless connector (8) and compared with each other. One of the data is assigned to the other data in accordance to a part of the data, where the former data is transferred with characteristic i.e. flag, to the car in conjunction with the latter data. An independent claim is also included for a motor car.
