The present invention relates to a cutter and a method for aligning a panel using same. The cutter includes a panel conveying device, an alignment device and a cutter main body. The panel conveying device includes a first roller matrix and a second roller matrix, the first roller matrix being used for bearing and conveying a panel along a first direction and the second roller matrix being used for bearing and conveying the panel along a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. The alignment device includes a first alignment assembly, a second alignment assembly, a third alignment assembly and a fourth alignment assembly, the first alignment assembly and second alignment assembly being used for alignment the panel before cutting same along the first direction, and the third alignment assembly and fourth alignment assembly being used for alignment the panel before cutting along the second direction. The cutter main body is used for controlling the panel conveying device and alignment device to dock the panel and cut same after alignment.
