<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intermittent stitch sewing machine in which a loose loop for shuttle rotation formed on a needle thread is made only by downward oscillation of a drag thread take-up lever by a single cam body at a position of a bed lower part. <P>SOLUTION: In an intermittent stitch sewing machine, a cam body 7 for oscillation of a drag thread take-up lever 9 is disposed on a driving shaft 6 of a bed lower part 5 for receiving the rotation of a main shaft of a sewing machine main body, and the cam body 7 is formed so that a first cam part 8a for initially feeding a needle thread (a) and a second cam part 8b for feeding a loop are continued in an endless cam groove 8. When the needle thread fed by predetermined oscillation of the drag thread take-up lever 9 is transferred to a bed upper part by a descending sewing needle, and is returned after adding a predetermined seam, the drag thread take-up lever 9 further pulls downward the needle thread (a) by additional downward oscillation in responce to the movement of the second cam part 8b, and stops the pulling at the end of the cam to form a loose loop by the loosened needle thread (a). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
