<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coaxial cable which has a low relative dielectric constant and allows lower loss and smaller diameter. <P>SOLUTION: A coaxial cable comprises, in a coaxial structure: a central conductor 2; an insulator 3 covering the central conductor 2; and an outer conductor 4 covering the outside of the insulator 3. The central conductor 2 is made of a hollow tube. A groove 7 is spirally formed on an outer peripheral surface of the central conductor 2.
