<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting element formed of a porous silicon-metal and/or semimetal composite improved in light emitting intensity; and a method of producing the light emitting element. <P>SOLUTION: The light emitting element is formed of a porous silicon-metal and/or semimetal oxide composite, which has a porous silicone layer on a silicone substrate and includes metal and/or semimetal oxide in pores constituting the porous silicon layer. In the method of producing a light emitting element formed of the porous silicon-metal and/or semimetal oxide composite, a silicone base material having the porous silicone layer is immersed in a reaction solution containing elements/an element of metal and/or semimetal and precipitating the metal and/or semimetal oxide in the pores of the porous silicon layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
