<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel oil composition for a diesel engine which can keep a liquid fuel state even under ultra-high pressure used in a high pressure injection device, can keep a proper combustion state by maintaining a fuel spray form, and can avoid a trouble such as damage of a nozzle hole of an injector and the like. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel oil composition for the diesel engine includes 5 to 40 vol.% of a fuel oil base material which contains 25 vol.% or more of isoparaffin and shows a 90 vol.% distillation temperature of 290 to 350°C and a paraffin branch index of 0.3 to 0.75, has a distillation state showing a 10 vol.% distillation temperature of 180 to 225°C and a 90 vol.% distillation temperature of 315 to 350°C; and includes not more than 10 mass ppm of a sulfur component, 70 to 98 vol.% of a saturated hydrocarbon, 2 to 30 vol.% of an aromatic hydrocarbon, not more than 1.5 vol.% of two ring aromatic groups, not more than 0.5 vol.% of three or more multi-ring aromatic groups, 39.2 to 68 vol.% of naphthenes, not more than 35 vol.% of multi-ring naphthenes, 5 to 15.1 vol.% of isoparaffin, and 10 to 1,000 vol. ppm of a low temperature fluidity improver. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
