The method involves introducing an injection mold core into tubular cavity formed between injection molding dice. A sandwich-like functional layer system (2) includes a cathode layer (2a), an electrolyte layer (2b) and an anode layer (2c) which are arranged on surface of injection molding die. A ceramic/glass-made support component (1) is inserted in tubular cavity so that gas permeable pores or openings are formed in sandwich-like functional layer system. The support component in tubular cavity is solidified at temperature of about less than or equal to 1200[deg] C. An independent claim is included for a tubular fuel cell.
