The method involves depositing a decorative layer on a tool (1), and providing a carrier (7) on the tool. A cavity (6) is formed by the decorative layer and/or the carrier. A membrane bag (8) is arranged in the cavity. Foaming material (9) is filled in the membrane bag. The decorative layer is formed on a region of the tool. The carrier is provided on a lower part of the tool. The carrier comprises a charging hole (11) equipped with the membrane bag. The membrane bag with a terminal portion extends through out the cavity by the charging hole. An independent claim is also included for a vehicle liner part.
