<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: an electrophotographic photoreceptor that exhibits high durability against repeated use for a long period, suppresses deterioration of images caused by the occurrence of a decrease in image density and image blur, and suppresses variation in potential of an exposure unit in a day as well as in a job to provide high-quality images in a stable manner; an image forming method; an image forming apparatus; and a process cartridge. <P>SOLUTION: An electrophotographic photoreceptor includes: a conductive support; and a charge generating layer, a charge transport layer, and a surface layer laminated on the conductive support in this order.
