<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a dimension of an apparatus in height, to improve sheet feed reliability, and to improve the opening/closing operation of three components of a sheet feed tray, a paper discharge tray and an access cover. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes a housing 1 having an opening that includes an image forming part for forming an image on a sheet; the access cover 10 that is rotatably supported at one side of the housing 1 and covers the opening; the sheet feed tray 3 that is rotatably supported at the one side and stacks the sheet before the image is formed by the image forming part; and the sheet discharge tray 7 that is rotatably supported on the access cover 10 and stacks the sheet after the image is formed by the image forming part. The rotation pivot of the sheet feed tray 3 and the access cover 10 is disposed in the same axis, and the rotation pivot of the sheet discharge tray 7 is disposed to be shifted from the rotation pivot of the access cover 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
