<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition that excels in water resistance and solvent resistance of a recorded image, and is excellent in dischargeability when the ink composition is used for inkjet recording. <P>SOLUTION: The ink composition for inkjet recording includes: (A) a polymer compound that has a partial structure shown by General Formula (I) in the side chain; and (B) a color material, wherein the content of (A) the polymer compound is 0.1-20 mass% based on the total mass of the ink composition.
