STRAIGHT TUBE TYPE LAMP AND LIGHTING FIXTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a straight tube type lamp capable of facilitating an operation for housing a light source in a straight tube cover and discharging heat generated from the light source to the outside.

SOLUTION: The straight tube type lamp has a light source unit 20 wherein a light source section 21 is arranged. Bases 30, 40 are respectively fixed on both ends of the light source unit 20. The straight tube type lamp has the straight tube cover 10 having a light-transmitting section on at least a front face 10c and housing the light source unit 20 so as to emit light from the light-transmitting section and formed to narrow a space between a center side of a back face 10b and the light source unit 20 in comparison with a space between both end sides of the back face 10b and the light source unit 20 while the front face is faced below by being supported on both ends.
