<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charge/discharge controller which increases capacity of secondary battery cells and equalizes voltages of the secondary battery cells. <P>SOLUTION: The charge/discharge controller equalizes voltages of secondary battery cells by using: a first cell balancing unit which uses either a capacitor charged by an external power supply or a charger, to charge the secondary battery cells so that voltage values of the secondary battery cells are equal to the highest of the voltage values of the secondary battery cells; and a second cell balancing unit which uses an inductor for charging/discharging adjacent secondary battery cells, to sequentially equalize voltages of the adjacent secondary battery cells. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
