Disclosed is a low-cost, quick-thermal response electronic thermometer which, when folded, suppresses bending and directional displacement of the lead wire of the temperature sensor. The electronic thermometer is provided with: a thermistor (74) containing a temperature sensor unit (73) for measuring body temperature of a subject and a lead wire (72) having one end fixed to the temperature sensor unit (73); a hollow housing (10) having the temperature sensor unit (73) arranged at the end thereof, and housing the lead wire (72); a printed circuit board (70) fixed to the other end of the lead wire (72); an assembly housed in the housing (10) and containing the printed circuit board (70); and a plate-form member (20) arranged against the assembly on the tip side of the housing (10) and attached to the assembly. The plate-form member (20) has an adhesive portion that is adhesive on a surface (21) opposite of the lead wire (72).
