Invention herewith described refers to the lithium-ion battery LiMn2O4 with aqueous electrolyte solution. There is found a new type of the lithium-ion battery with LiMn2O4 as the cathode material, with Li1.2V3O8 as the anode material and the aqueous solution of lithium nitrate as the electrolyte. Li1.2V3O8 is synthesized by the glycine-nitrate gel combustion method, and Li1.2V3O8 is synthesized by the wet sol-gel process and then tempered at the temperatures between 200°C and 400°C. All batteries, independently of the heating temperature Li1.2V3O8, have the operating voltage of 1.3 V. The largest and the smallest initial capacity loss after the 50-th charge/discharge cycles indicated the battery in which as the anode is used Li1.2V3O8 tempered at the temperature of 300°C, whose the initial capacity is 136.8 mAhg-1, and the decrease in capacity after 50 cycles is about 12%. |
