PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mash up a web service of a service provider and a resource of a resource providing device without disclosing information of the resource providing device to the service provider.

SOLUTION: A communication section receives a program including a use request of a resource described in a first format from a program providing device. A program execution section executes the program and extracts the use request of the resource. A conversion section specifies a resource providing device that provides the resource indicated in the use request and converts the use request into a second format that is interpretable by the specified resource providing device. The communication section transmits the converted use request to the specified resource providing device and receives the result of processing of the use request. The conversion section converts the result of processing received by the communication section into the first format. The program execution section operates according to the result of processing after the conversion.
