<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain a cleaning performance even when an amount of offset toner input to a cleaning web increases, and to suppress wasteful consumption of the cleaning web. <P>SOLUTION: A pressing roller 14 of cleaning means 10 is provided so as to be able to release a pressure against a pressure roller 4. When a fixing operation of double-sided printing, being a condition for a large amount of input toner (offset toner) to a cleaning web 11, finishes, the cleaning web 11 (pressing roller 14) is separated from the pressure roller 4 as shown by dotted lines in an enlarged view, and a winding operation of the cleaning web 11 is performed continuously for a predetermined time. Thus, belching out of foreign matters such as toner or the like existing at a contact nip part between the cleaning web 11 and the pressure roller 4 is prevented, and generation of an image quality defect due to the belch can be prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
