<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish a technique capable of preventing termite from passing on a surface for a long period of time even in the case that a termite prevention agent is disposed in a planar shape such as coating. <P>SOLUTION: A termite prevention method includes coating of a termite prevention paint consisting of a termite prevention agent and a silane-based compound on a termite intrusion route of a house, suitably coating of the agent in a predetermined width on a concrete foundation (for example, its outdoor side wall surface) as a constituting component. The termite prevention paint is suitably impregnated from the surface of the concrete foundation into the inside thereof. The silane-based compound can be exemplified by a silane-siloxane mixture containing alkylalkoxysilane and alkylalkoxysiloxane, and the alkylalkoxysilane has suitably a C<SB POS="POST">7-12</SB>branched alkyl group. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
