<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic system capable of detecting a plurality of types of ultrasonic probes without erroneous detection. <P>SOLUTION: The ultrasonic diagnostic system 1 includes: an ultrasonic probe 2 transmitting and receiving the ultrasonic wave inside the body; an optical sensor outputting a detection signal for detecting the type of the ultrasonic probe 2; an electric contact sensor outputting the detection signal for determining the type of the ultrasonic probe 2 and not interfering with the optical sensor; and a scanning control part 16 for distinguishing the types of the ultrasonic probe 2 based on the detection signal of the optical sensor and the detection signal detected by the electric contact sensor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
