<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid discharging device by which a good liquid discharging quality to a medium is obtained regardless of a distance between a nozzle and the medium receiving liquid discharging from the nozzle and without lowering a conveying speed of the medium and a method for controlling the same. <P>SOLUTION: A period of the first potential and a period of the second potential of a driving voltage for charging and discharging for an actuator are shifted into a plurality of patterns according to the distance between the nozzle and the medium receiving the liquid discharging from the nozzle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
