<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evacuation float 1 which has a floating body floating up on the occurrence of a tsunami, which reliably protects an evacuee 50, which achieves rapid floatation of the floating body 2, and the large number of which can be installed by becoming widespread. <P>SOLUTION: An evacuation float has a floating body floating up on the occurrence of a tsunami. The evacuation float 1 comprises the floating body 2, and an ocean-side slope 4 which is formed toward a top surface of the floating body 2 from a ground surface 3 on the ocean side of the floating body 2.
