<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid buccal pharmaceutical composition containing agomelatine for an intended systemic action. <P>SOLUTION: The composition contains : agomelatine or its hydrate, complex, co-crystal, crystalline form, one of the salts added to pharmaceutically acceptable acid or base, and one or more vehicles selected from diluent, binder, flow agent, lubricant, coating, plasticizer, flavorant, counterirritant, and sweetener.
