The component has a tailored fiber placement-textile feeder (10) comprising composite with thermoplastic matrix, and molded rib structures (11) connected with a frame. The rib structures are made from milled fibers with reinforcement material having volume portion of 30 percent. A foam material e.g. polyurethane or polyamide, is arranged in intermediate rib areas limited by the rib structures. A flat reinforcement structure is formed on a side of the rib structures, where the rib structures are connected with the reinforcement structure by a thermoplastic layer. The rib structures are made from milled fibers i.e. reinforcement fibers made from glass, carbon, polymer, aramide or thermoplastic fibers. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a fiber-reinforced plastic-component.
