The absorber unit (3) has an inlet region (5b) and an outlet (6) for the fluid, which are located at a downstream side. Two mutually parallel plates, in which top plate for solar radiation-transmission and a bottom plate (3b) for solar radiation-absorption are provided between the flow spaces. The two plates in the flow space are evenly distributed over the plate surface with several domes (8) which are protruded to the other plate, in which the height of dome is less than the distance between the two plates. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) solar thermal collector for heating gaseous fluid; and (2) method for manufacturing absorber unit.
