<p>Producing recess (2) in a casting component (1), comprises introducing a casting material into a cavity formed by a mold (5) and a core (6), solidifying the casting material in the cavity to form a casting component, and removing the mold and the core from the casting component. The core, during the solidification of the casting material, is moved parallel to a plane, which is orthogonal to an axial extension of the core and/or the recess, with respect to the mold. An independent claim is also included for an apparatus for carrying out the above method, comprising the mold and the core arranged in the mold, where a cavity is formed by the distance from the mold and the core. The core is associated with a drive and/or the core is parallel to the plane and is movably mounted relative to the mold.</p> |
