The engine operation is started only when a main relay (2) associated to the DC motor (4) is switched on. The motor operation is stopped by switching on the auxiliary relay (3) associated with the DC motor, while maintaining the switching state of the main relay. The main relay and the auxiliary relay are switched off simultaneously. The main and auxiliary relays are switched on for degradation of inductive motor energy after the pause period. An independent claim is included for an apparatus for controlling wear-resistant circuit for DC motor.
