<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow appropriate acquisition of data to be printed. <P>SOLUTION: Depending on whether a print job for a printing apparatus is received by the printing apparatus, it is determined whether the printing apparatus is in a state of being capable of printing an image.
