<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress energy for drying and curing ink, thereby reducing influence of heat to peripheral members. <P>SOLUTION: A recording apparatus 1 includes: a recording portion 3 for ejecting a liquid to a recording medium M for recording; a first infrared heating portion 42 for irradiating the recording medium M with an infrared ray having a wavelength at which an intensity of the infrared ray has a peak in an absorption wavelength band of water included in the liquid; and a second infrared heating portion 43 disposed on the downstream side of the first infrared heating portion 42 in the carrying direction for irradiating the recording medium M with an infrared ray having a wavelength at which an intensity of the infrared ray has a peak in an absorption wavelength band of a solvent included in the liquid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
