<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibrator employed in a conveyor which overcomes or substantially ameliorate at least one of the conventional disadvantages. <P>SOLUTION: The vibrator (16) for a tray (10) of a vibratory conveyor (ship conveyor). The conveyor (16) includes bases (19 and 22) supported by resilient mountings (17 and 18) on a stationary structure (37).
