<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of solving a memory error without adding an external error. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus, a control panel 101 accepts whether to use for a predetermined job a memory area other than a memory area for the predetermined job within RAM 113b.
