<p>This tempered glass has a compressive stress layer on the surface and is characterized by having a glass composition which contains, in mol%, 45-75% of SiO2, 3-15% of Al2O3, 0-12% of Li2O, 0.3-20% of Na2O, 0-10% of K2O and 1-15% of MgO + CaO, with the molar ratio of (Al2O3 + Na2O + P2O5)/SiO2 being 0.1-1, the molar ratio of (B2O3 + Na2O)/SiO2 being 0.1-1, the molar ratio of P2O5/SiO2 being 0-1, the molar ratio of Al2O3/SiO2 being 0.01-1 and the molar ratio of Na2O/Al2O3 being 0.1-5. This tempered glass is also characterized in that the surface or the end faces thereof are etched after the tempering treatment.</p> |
