<p>The method and apparatus for emulating short text fast-reading use a knowledge-base database structure containing semantic data, a variation of lexicon or vocabulary. The database structure and its content, in combination with the programmed logic, are emulating human fast-reading processes. The method and apparatus are used for analysing a short natural language text, generally between 5 lines and 10 pages, to produce a standardized output containing text and simple statistics generated from lexical components. The output can be used, for instance, to speed up search processes.</p> |
