This static electricity elimination device eliminates static electricity from a connection cable (20) to which a connector (22) has been attached. The static electricity elimination device contains: a conductive substrate (12); a guide section (14) that is provided to the substrate and guides the movement of the connector; and a plurality of conductive fibers (16) extending from the surface of the substrate in a region that is along the lengthwise direction of the guide section.
